Magellan Maestro 3140 Portable Navigation with Bluetooth!
DeviceThe Magellan Maestro 3140 loads tons of features like, Bluetooth and Text-to-Speech technology into a very sleek and slender design. The 3140 has a large 3.5” touch, display that is viewable in any lighting condition. Not only has Magellan given to a larger display and a thinner design, (only 1.14 inches thick), but they have created a new user interface for the Maestro that is easier to use than any other unit before it. The Maestro 3140 is powered by the included 12 volt adapter or it can run off the built in Li-ion battery for approximately 3 hours of use. With a SiRFstar III antenna, the Maestro 3140 will give you superior acquisition time and exceptional GPS reception.
Loaded to every Maestro 3140 is the entire Navteq database for the United States and Canada including 4.5 million Points of Interest. Simply use the touch screen to enter a specific address or particular point of interest and the Magellan Maestro 3140 will generate a route to your destination. With the Magellan QuickSpell technology the Magellan 3140 will eliminate letter choices bringing you to your street name or POI name faster. Once you are underway the Maestro 3140 will guide you with both verbal and on screen directions to safely route you to your destination. If that is not enough, the Maestro 3140 will also announce the name of the street that you are turning onto using Magellan’s SayWhere technology with Text-to-Speech. If you get off track, the 3140 will recalculate your route and get you back on track within seconds. If you have multiple destinations, the Maestro 3140 will route you in the order that you request or you can have the Maestro optimize the route for you and take you the most efficient way.
The Maestro 3140 is Bluetooth capable and will allow you to make hands-free calls while using the Maestro to Navigate (requires a Bluetooth-enabled phone). Check this link for a list of compatible Bluetooth phones.
