Nav-Charts are very small memory cartridges, measuring 27.0 x 31.2 x 4.8 mm, about the size of a typical postage stamp. Packed with large detailed port plans enriched with local knowledge and spot soundings, location names and navaids, Navionics new Navcharts provide the boater with most of the benefits of paper charts with the route planning capabilities and portability found in chartplotters. The fully seamless charts also provide tide & current information, a facilities and port services guide and are updated periodically with national notices to mariners. The Navionics Navcharts are compatible with the Furuno 1650, 1850, and NavNet Series, the Icom GP360ml, the Northstar 952 and 957 and the Ray Marine RD-420 and RC-425 chartplotters. |
