Northstar 550i Explorer most popular chartplotter includes a built-in 16MB regional background map and the introduction of C-Map’s latest cartography: NT MAX. Northstar 550i offers a 5” color screen with 320 x 240 resolution.There is room for 3000 waypoints, 25 routes and 5 track logs. This unit also includes a built in fuel computer and is SmartCraft compatible. C-Map NT+/MAX compatible. Northstar’s ease-of-use philosophy is lead by the Explorer 550i’s user interface design. The intuitive MENU key uses situation logic to display options dependent on the current situation. Have you just set a waypoint? Then the first menu option is GOTO.
