| The Explorer 657 by Northstar is the latest in GPS/Sounder combination units. The Explorer 657 has a 5", full VGA 600 x 480 resolution, sunlight viewable, color display. The Explorer 657 is a full-featured chartplotter with C-Map MAX cartography for detailed marine information. The 657 comes with an external 12-Channel, WAAS GPS antenna which will provide accuracy down to 3 meters*. Explorer 657 will alert you with its audible alarms for arrival radius, danger, anchor and XTE. Northstar also includes Tide data so you can find out peak tide times, depths, moon phase and sunrise and sunset.
The Explorer 657 includes a 600 Watt sounder for performance in depths of 3300 feet. Included with the 657 is a dual frequency 50/200 kHz transom mount transducer for exceptional performance in both shallow and deep water. The Explorer will allow you to view the 200kHz or 50kHz by themselves, plus it can give you a mix of both signals. Other features include the storage for up to 3,000 waypoints with name and 25 routes with 50 waypoints per route. NOTE: Northstar Explorer 657 Special Features
